In real life applications, u should be able to move ur bot through a kind of terrain dat test ur skills. So this event is one such a place where u kan move your bot through all kinds of terrains indulging extreme smooth surfaces to rock hard ones…….

Exercise your minds to run through the clues and hints to pave your way to the ultimate destination.

Event 3: Problem Statement

Build a robot within specified dimensions that can travel through all kinds of terrains specified below in the least possible time.

Specifications:

  • The robot can have a maximum dimension of:
    Length : 30cm
    Breadth: 25cms
    Height : 25cms
    Weight : No restrictions
  • The Robot can be wired or wireless or autonomous.
  • The wheels or legs of the robot can be of any design.
  • Voltage: The voltage source need not be onboard,as per participants requirements and should not exceed 15V.
  • Note: A tolerance of 5% is allowed in the above mentioned parameters, taking into consideration the error of the measuring instruments that we use here and those used by the participants in the making of the robot. The relaxation is scientific and tolerable.

Qualifying Round:

  • In this round the participant’s robot has to cross different terrains . Once the robot crosses the terrains, it is clear that the robot is eligible for the final round.

Task

  • This zone has four terrains.
  • First it has speed breakers followed by a greasy path.
  • Then there will be a zig zag path.

Final Round:

  • It wil be revealed at the time of the event

Rules and Regulations

  • The judge’s decision will be final and abiding.
  • The organizers are not responsible for any sort of damage to the bot.
  • The maximum number of members allowed per team is 4 and minimum is 3.
  • Every participant must carry a valid identity card of their college.
  • Readymade chassis and Lego kits are strictly prohibited. Anyways you can make use of readymade gear assemblies and wheels.
  • The bot should comply with all the rules given above, failing which can cause to disqualification.
  • Any weapon other than mentioned if used should be informed to the organizers via mail.
  • Queries of any sort are to be clarified before coming for event.
  • The above mentioned rules might be changed at anytime. So kindly get updated with our website.

Judging Criteria

  • • The team will be qualified once it completes the 3 paths of terrain.
  • There will be minimum time mentioned, which will be the dead line for the team to complete the terrain in order to be qualified.
  • The time limit will be mentioned at the time of commencement of the event. The time limit will be such that the teams can easily cover the terrains
