Robo Streak
PROBLEM STATEMENT: TO BUILD A BASIC ROBOT WHICH IS WIRED OR WIRELESS AND CAN GO AS FAST AS SPEED OF LIGHT! THE MAIN TASK OF THE ROBOT IS TO SWIFT AS FAST AS IT CAN AND MOVES IN DESIRED PATH.Qualifying Round: - ONE-ON-ONE
Two participants are selected randomly to compete against each other. It is a single lap race where racers have to show off their racing skills in order to complete the race first.Only speed matters in this round, touches with the boundaries will not be considered until no damage occurs to the arena The bot with best time shall be declared as winners. The winners will be advanced to next round (blind race).
Final Round: - BLIND RACEA leadership and team bonding race where blindfolded participant have to "run" the bot directed by his team mates.Bot and driver should be guided properly by their team mates so that they are not allowed to touch/hit the race track/boundaries, if any negative marks will be awarded Speed and control are necessary to stand out as a winner.Team with more points is declared as champion.
Specifications:The robot should have a maximum size of 30cm (length) X 30cm (breadth) X 30cm (height) including the battery. The robot must be self-contained with a maximum dc voltage of 12V and no external power supply is allowed.
About The Track: The arena will be displayed only on the day of event.Rules and Regulations
- The judge’s decision will be final and abiding.
- The organizers are not responsible for any sort of damage to the bot.
- The maximum number of members allowed per team is 5 and minimum is 3.
- Every participant must carry a valid identity card of their college.
- Readymade chassis and Lego kits are strictly prohibited. Anyways you can make use of readymade gear assemblies and wheels.
- The bot should comply with all the rules given above, failing which can cause to disqualification.
- Queries of any sort are to be clarified before coming for event.
- Only 2 players can be near the operation of the robot. The second player is only to hold the wire from damaging the arena or to prevent the wire from getting stuck to their robot.
- The wire should be slack at any point of the game.
- If any problem arises the participant is allowed to touch the robot only once in each round. A time of 5minutes will be given for repair. He will be disqualified if he does not place his robot after 5minutes.
- A team can give a maximum of 1 attempt.
- Points will be given based on the time taken to clear the arena.
